140 kJ, 225 kV, 6kA FXR system based on FPFL Marx generator is an import substitute. Flash X-Ray radiography is one of the most important method used to effectively diagnose high speed events. It is use for requiring short and intense x-ray pulses & give radiographs of the highest possible quality. The nanosecond exposure time will effectively prevent motion blur. A small focal spot sizes gives radiographs with high sharpness. The system can be operated with an output voltage varied from 125kV to 225kV under matched load conditions. It is also useful for radiography of different metallic samples, transient chemical reactions of various materials, sub-microseconds photo chemistry and flash radiography, study of material properties such as iron, cobalt, nickel, zirconium and molybdenum by measuring their dose response for different dosimeter positions.
140J, 225kV, 6kA, Flash X-ray generator is used for radiography of different materials to detect any defect. FXR generator consists of 225kV, 6kA, 15 stages Marx Generator generating pulse of duration 150ns and rise time of 50ns using Folded Pulse Forming Line that has been developed indigenously. It utilizes FPFL based high voltage Max generator and cold cathode, two-electrode vacuum tube to generate short and intense bursts of hard X-ray. The radiation intensity produced by an accelerated beam of paraxial electrons varies over a wide voltage range.
