FXR generator consists of 225kV, 6kA, 15 stages Marx Generator generating pulse of duration 150ns and rise time of 50ns using Folded Pulse Forming Line that has been developed indigenously. It utilizes FPFL based high voltage Max generator and cold cathode, two-electrode vacuum tube to generate short and intense bursts of hard X-ray. The radiation intensity produced by an accelerated beam of paraxial electrons varies over a wide voltage range.
