An automated air moisture collection sampler is designed and developed using thermo electric cooling technology based on the principle of Peltier effect for collecting air moisture for analysis of tritium in environment around nuclear power plants. This indigenously developed sampler collects moisture even at low humidity levels and can also be used for collection of long-time cumulative sample in comparison to the present method of random sample collection.

Being an assembly of various components, it is easy for productionisation of sampler. There is a requirement for these type of samplers in large numbers at various DAE units; Hence, there is a scope for mass production.
The sampler is stand alone and doesn't need any manual intervention for operation. It can be used in low humidity conditions and for collection of long-time cumulative air moisture sample.
Air moisture collection and analysis for Tritium in different DAE units. It can also be used for analysis of any other contaminants in the air moisture.
