Security Electronics & Software Systems Division is involved in the development of technology for Physical Protection Gadgets for Perimeter Protection, Secure Wireless Communication, Machine Intelligence based Robotic & Automation solutions for Nuclear Fuel Cycle, Computer Vision based Intelligent Systems for security applications and indigenous Scanning Electron Microscope.
An important mandate of the division is in the planning, design, procurement, deployment and long-term maintenance of Wireless Communication Systems and Physical Protection Systems for security needs of BARC. The division also provides support to other agencies in DAE for planning and coordination regarding perimeter protection.
